Wonderful stay in a beautiful house with amazing panoramic views. Lisa was a lovely host and we could recommend this place !!!!! Maria in the local bistro is a great place to discover local hospitality and great food :-)

Absolute gem in a lovely picturesque town. The neighbors are super friendly and the Taverna is great too with some homecooking from Maria. A real oasis to relax. Got some fresh eggs in the Morning from the housekeeper. I can highly recommend this place.

We had a great time in Crete and would definately recommend the villa to everyone. The beautiful terraces and astonishing view provide an inviting glance to crete's wonderful landscape. Villa was lovely, and super clean. Amazing views as it is perched atop a mountain (or at least a very substantial hill) and extremely quiet. 3 or 4 different outside areas to enjoy drinks, dinner etc (tho we were v unlucky to get 2 or 3 days of rain in early September - which seems highly unusual for Crete). A paradise on earth. Everything there is perfect. The view is stunning, the village is beautiful, calm, and it’s résidents are so nice. I would keep this place for myself but… I recommend it eyes closed

The Villa at Kastellos Village was very cute, if you don't look at the last corners, it is also very clean. We were surprised that the first bedroom ist not a completely separated room, but in the end it didn't bother. The only thing that sometimes was a little difficult to handle was the very small kitchen which really only contained the basics of basics. You definitely need a car when you stay a... plus

Very nice view, convenient house, perfect terrace!

This place is just fabulous ! We have spent 10 days in this little part of paradise where you can appreciate the point of view from your accommodation which is smartly opened in that way you can take advantage of outside (3 terraces) and inside the location. I really recommend this adress and the icing on the cake: Maria Taverna which is closed to the accommodation and where you can eat delicious ... plus

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten eine tolle Zeit. Das Haus war sauber und genauso schön, wie auf den Bildern dargestellt. Der Pool und die Terrasse waren gepflegt und wir hatten den Bereich meistens für uns. Im Dorf selbst gibt es das geniale Restaurant "Marias Taverne", sehr empfehlenswert und unschlagbares Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir würden direkt wiederkommen :)

We loved the villa and its calm atmosphere and its beautiful scenery. My wife, girls and I were continuously daydreaming about moving and living there. The neighbors were very welcoming and as long as you have a car, you can go anywhere you like. I recomand having yogort and Maria's, swiming in the Kourna lake, Kalyvaki beach and Georgioupolis town.

Having spent 9 nights in Kastellos village appts with husband and 3 children I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone hoping to explore this area of Crete - with a car. The appt is spacious and clean with regular bed changes and towel changes throughout the stay. Greek hospitality at its best The accommodations were great but the wonderful Greek people in the village made the entire stay special. We plan to return soon.

A great location away from the tourist areas but only a few minutes drive to the beach and shops. Very quiet and peaceful in a small village with great views over The Valley and the sea. Host met us and explained the workings of the flat. Cleaning staff were around daily to check if there was anything we needed. Would highly recommend if you want to be away from the crowds.

The view is magnificent, and the village is really. The house in which we were has two bedrooms. One of them was very very nice (nice view , terrace, nice bathroom); the other one did not have a real window which made it less attractive. Beautiful place and view, surrounded by the lovely Kastello village and it’s people. Peaceful and authentic while still close to the city. Kind host and wonderful restaurant/taverna recommendations. We hope to stay next time longer!

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine de vacances en famille dans la villa Anezina. La villa ainsi que la vue sur la campagne environnante et la mer sont superbes. Le village de Kastellos est très calme mais l'accueil y est très chaleureux, notamment chez Maria qui tient la taverne toute proche de la villa. Une voiture est plus que recommandée pour accéder au village et profiter de la région.

This was a fantastic place to stay! The host offered tips before we arrived of local restaurants etc. and was quick to respond to any questions we had. The house was spacious, clean, with amazing views to sit out and eat breakfast. The local restaurant a few steps down the road was also a hit. We were looking for a nice place close to the beach but not in the touristic place. We found Manos house and we were fully satisfied. The house is very nice with some terraces here and here perfect to have a drink. The pool is here to refresh you after a day of visit along with a stunning view. A small village on a hillside, a magnificent view, a 10 minute drive from idyllic beaches ... If it is not paradise, we get close to it. The reception is warm, the availability of Manos and his advice are excellent (the Taverne de Maria, with his family kitchen and reduced prices!), The perfect apartment ... Go with your eyes closed, is the successful holiday insurance.

We stayed at the Anezina appartment for 3 days on the end of february,i ve got say i was pretty impressed! First of all the the appartment itself was amazing..traditional in all ways,i was amazed about the details,very clean very tidy,small kitchen but capable of sustaining the needs of a family(we were 4 adults and a child), with a lot of sofas and chairs to relax around the fireplace..
